Due to overwhelming demand and phone calls regarding this service, please do not call and ask how long it will take to repair these covers. We will ask that you refer to the website for this info. If are concerned whether your cover can be reapired, please send your pictures to info@iprresearch.com for confirmation. For reference, if your cover's damage is no worst than the picture we have displayed on our web page, it can be repaired.
This $250 service repairs the 6.4's front cover water pump surface.
Front covers with damaged/gouged oil pump surfaces will be subjected to an additional $75, please select and add option.
Front covers damaged to the point where oil is mixing into the coolant requires extensive welding which (in some cases) will pentrate through the back of the cover. In order to ensure a leak free repair, we will pressure test the front cover for porosity/leaks at an additional charge of $35.
Turn around times are 1-2 weeks.
We are currently "not sending out front covers for exchange" due to shortage of cores being returned. You will have to send yours in for repairs. Pay online with a credit card, we will bill the same credit card for shipping when your cover is ready to be sent back to you. Write your order number on the back of the cover and specify if you have oil contamination into your cooling system.
