Conical seals are a great addition to the IPR external oil cooler kit's stainless steel hose end fittings. They are used to entend the life of the fittings by providing a soft pliable seal between the male and female flare on the fitting. Benefits of installing conical seals are:
1. Require less torque on the fitting to get the fittings to seat and create a leak free assembly
2. Eliminates scouring/marring of the male and female flare seal surface which can cause leaks
3. Repairs most leaks and restores male and female seat surfaces.
